Coordinator, Volunteer Lawyers Service
Patricia Walsh-Ollari started her career in legal services at Western Massachusetts Legal Services in 1989, where she was the Program Paralegal for the Volunteer Lawyers Service (VLS) and was then promoted to Coordinator of VLS. In 1997, Pat began the same position at the Mass. Justice Project. Pat is now a VLS Coordinator at CLA, where she interviews clients, assesses their legal needs, and refers their cases to volunteer attorneys. She coordinates and participates in the Senior Partners for Justice-West programs and also organizes the recruitment and retention of volunteer attorneys through recognition events, receptions and trainings. Over the years, Pat has been member of a number of pro bono related committees, including the Foreclosure Task Force, The Pro Bono Alliance, the Massachusetts Pro Bono Coordinators Coalition, and the Pro Bono Legal Services Advisory Committee of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. In 2009, Pat was the first recipient of the annual John M. Greaney Award.
