Gordon Shaw worked for Massachusetts Justice Project (MJP) for more than 15 years before the program joined Community Legal Aid in 2014. At Community Legal Aid, Gordon became the first Director of Client Access. After he received his law degree in 1990 from Northeastern University School of Law, Gordon served two years as a judicial law clerk to the Massachusetts Superior Court (the second year, as the Deputy Chief Law Clerk). He then spent several years in private practice prior to joining MJP as a staff attorney in 1998, then Managing Attorney in 2005 and Executive Director in 2011. From 1996 to 2000, he served as co-chair for Hampshire County Reinventing Justice, a task force charged with examining how to make the justice system more accessible.
