Amanda served as a U.S. Army Medical Service Corps Officer from 1996 to 2002, and then spent two years as a Judge Advocate for the U.S. army. From 2011 to 2017 she served as a Department of the Army Attorney and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Amanda joined Community Legal Aid in Worcester as a Staff Attorney on the Veterans Project in August 2018.
In 2005 Amanda was admitted to the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
