SUMMARY:Hampden County Conciliation Project (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:The Hampden County Conciliation Project\, a collaboration between Community Legal Aid (CLA) and the Hampden County Bar Association (HCBA)\, assists litigants who have made a court appearance and whose case the presiding Judge believes would be better resolved through the assistance of a trained neutral conciliator. \nCLA is seeking volunteers for this Project to help with virtual conciliation. This registration page is for ATTORNEY signups only – NOT LITIGANTS.  \nVolunteers sign up for 3-hour shifts\, which occur every other Wednesday from 9AM to 12PM. CLA and HCBA staff assist with scheduling two cases per shift. Staff will reach out to the respective parties to schedule their conciliation\, will be available on Zoom to assist the volunteer\, and can assist in executing agreements and sending them to the Court.

DESCRIPTION:Sign up to be a Lawyer for the Day! Advise litigants on their family law matters at the Worcester Probate and Family Court and assist with the drafting of emergency motions. Sessions are held every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nCLA Pro Bono staff are on-site to assist with prescreening and file collection. \nSIGN UP HERE for a 2- or 4-hour session on Wednesday mornings from September 24\, 2025 – June 24\, 2026. \nCan’t volunteer for a half or full session? Join our on-call emergency email list. If there is a cancelation or the program is at capacity\, we will send a blast email to ask for volunteers for a 30- to 60-minute emergency session.
