DESCRIPTION:Looking for a small-bite pro bono opportunity? Community Legal Aid’s Pro Bono Family Law Clinic offers a weekly program for low-income litigants seeking advice or drafting assistance on their family law matters (e.g. divorce\, child or spousal support\, child custody and parenting time\, guardianships). Volunteers meet with litigants either remotely or in-person in downtown Worcester\, MA for one-hour sessions. \nThe Clinic takes place every Wednesday from 9am-1pm. Sign up for 2-hour or 4-hour shifts. \nPre-screening and conflict checking conducted in advance. However\, these evictions are not automatically sealed. Tenants must file a petition with the Court where the eviction was filed to request that the eviction be sealed. \nWe need YOUR HELP! Join Community Legal Aid and MetroWest Legal Services at the Worcester Court Service Center on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an Eviction Sealing Clinic. Draft petitions for eligible tenants which they can file on their own. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience conducting client interviews and drafting court forms. \nPlease review the dates below and sign up. Attorney Cammuso’s practice focuses on estate and asset protection planning\, estate and trust administration\, tax planning\, elder and disability law\, and corporate and business planning. Attorney Cammuso previously worked in the nursing home industry\, where she gained valuable insight into elder law and long-term care issues. Her knowledge in this field is a distinct benefit in working with clients who are facing long-term care planning challenges. \nAttorney Cammuso is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs and provides veterans and their families with advice on the complex areas of law regarding VA pension benefits\, also known as Aid & Attendance.
