Pro Bono Spotlight: Attorney Kathryn Crouss
Kathryn Crouss, Of Counsel at Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury, and Murphy, P.C., concentrates her practice on both employment and family law related matters.
Attorney Crouss regularly represents clients in divorce, custody, and post-divorce matters both in court and through alternative dispute resolution methods. Both a certified mediator and trained in collaborative law, Attorney Crouss assists clients in working towards an amicable resolution to avoid the uncertainty, time, and expense of litigation whenever possible. In addition, Attorney Crouss regularly advocates for clients in Probate and Family Court in all four western counties, and has represented clients in courts throughout the state.
Attorney Crouss studied at Western New England University School of Law and is admitted in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, and to the Federal District Court in Massachusetts.
Attorney Crouss has been a CLA Pro Bono volunteer since 2013 assisting with the Hampden County Conciliation Project and providing full representation in family law cases. She’s also been on the board of Community Legal Aid since 2018 and has chaired CLA’s Access to Justice fundraising campaign in Hampden County for the past two years. Attorney Crouss has also served on the board of the Hampden County Bar Association since 2018.
