Last year, Community Legal Aid handled over 8,000 cases, changing the lives of an estimated 20,000 of the most vulnerable residents of Central and Western Massachusetts. We depend on the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to do this work.

Even modest gifts change lives. Your gift of:

• $55 trains a community group to fight injustice;
• $220 helps a survivor of abuse obtain an emergency order of protection;
• $550 helps a client through the process of appealing a denial of benefits;
• $770 prevents a family from becoming homeless due to an eviction.

The need for legal services far outstrips our ability to provide them. CLA is forced to turn away over half of the people eligible for our services who ask us for help because we don’t have enough resources. Each of these people is facing a legal crisis when they call for help.
