Krista Ellis

Coordinating Attorney, Family Law

Before joining Community Legal Aid’s Family Law Unit in August 2019, Krista was in law school, where she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. She interned at the American Bar Association on Children and the Law, where she worked on many national projects to assist legal representation for parents and families. She presented on the topic of Bias in Child Welfare at the 2019 National Parent Representation Conference. Krista is also a member of Hampden County Bar Association. In 2025, Krista was recognized by the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts with an Emerging Women Leaders in Law Award which is awarded to women attorneys who have demonstrated professional excellence or had a significant professional achievement in approximately their first 12 years in the legal profession or contribute meaningfully to the equal participation of women in a just society.
