CLA Statement on Anniversary of George Floyd Murder

May 25, 2021 marks one year since George Floyd was murdered, inspiring a collective call for racial justice across the country. Community Legal Aid joins all who mourn the death of George Floyd and those who have lost their lives as a result of injustice. As part of the Virtual Day of Action convened by the George Floyd Memorial Foundation, we affirm our commitment to continue working side by side with our local communities to dismantle structural racism and to fight for justice for all.
