Community Legal Aid statement on May 14th shooting in Buffalo

The CLA community offers its condolences to the families of those killed in the senseless shooting in Buffalo on May 14th that targeted the Black community. This act of racist hatred, unfortunately, was not an isolated occurrence. Hate crimes are on the rise in the United States and we are left wondering what community will be the next Buffalo, El Paso, Charleston, or Pittsburgh. We at CLA vow to continue to do our part to fight systems of oppression and ensure that all people are treated equally and fairly under the law.
