The Hampden County Conciliation Project, a collaboration between Community Legal Aid (CLA) and the Hampden County Bar Association (HCBA), assists litigants who have made a court appearance and whose case the presiding Judge believes would be better resolved through the assistance of a trained neutral conciliator.

CLA is seeking volunteers for this Project to help with in-court conciliation. This registration page is for in-person ATTORNEY signups only – NOT LITIGANTS. 

Volunteers sign up for 4-hour shifts (9AM to 1PM). The Court will send the respective parties to conciliation at the time of their court appearance. CLA and HCBA staff assist with intake and case processing.
