The Hampden County Conciliation Project, a collaboration between Community Legal Aid (CLA) and the Hampden County Bar Association (HCBA), assists litigants who have made a court appearance and whose case the presiding Judge believes would be better resolved through the assistance of a trained neutral conciliator.

CLA is seeking volunteers for this Project to help with virtual conciliation. This registration page is for ATTORNEY signups only – NOT LITIGANTS. 

Volunteers sign up for 3-hour shifts, which occur every other Wednesday from 9AM to 12PM. CLA and HCBA staff assist with scheduling two cases per shift. Staff will reach out to the respective parties to schedule their conciliation, will be available on Zoom to assist the volunteer, and can assist in executing agreements and sending them to the Court.
