MassHire Workshop Covers Rights of those With Criminal Records

WORCESTER – MassHire is holding a free workshop to educate those with a criminal record of their rights on Thursday, March 28. The workshop, which runs from 2 PM to 3 PM, will take place at the MassHire Worcester Career Center at 554 Main St., Suite 300.

Community Legal Aid’s CORI and Reentry Project will cover issues related to criminal court involvement, incarceration, and substance or alcohol abuse disorder.

The workshop also includes information on:

• Sealing and expungement of CORI
• Public and subsidizing housing denials
• Public and subsidized housing terminations
• Employment denials
• Housing discrimination based on substance and alcohol use disorder issues
