David served as an Attorney-Adviser in the U.S. State Department’s Office of the Legal Adviser for nearly 10 years, including details as the Embassy Legal Adviser at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and as the Chief of the Sanctions and Counter-Terrorism Team at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. He also taught International Organizations at George Washington University Law School from 2015-2018 and worked on election integrity for two years at Facebook before joining Community Legal Aid.
