James Mooney

During law school, James worked for an environmental non-profit aimed at preserving endangered habitats in southeastern Massachusetts, and served as a student attorney at the Harvard Legal Aid bureau, where he defended tenants in eviction suits, and in Suffolk’s Human Rights and Indigenous Peoples clinic, where he worked with tribes to develop a diversionary drug court and represented a separate client in a complaint proceeding through the United Nations. James has worked with community organizations around tenants rights and environmental justice.
