Fair Housing Testing Coordinator

Theo joined Community Legal Aid in 2024 after completing their Master of Social Work at Columbia University. They serve as the Springfield Fair Housing Testing Coordinator, designing investigations to examine the everyday practices of housing providers. Prior to joining CLA,  Theo conducted research and analysis surrounding efforts to uplift BIPOC and LGBTQ communities in the field of social work and engaged in crisis response work in Northampton and remotely across the country. Theo also participated in community organizing relating to housing insecurity, gender identity, and asylum status, with their work inclusive of training new organizers, fundraising, and direct support.
