Pro Bono Spotlight: Attorney Sheila Mulholland

Attorney Sheila Mulholland of Springfield, Massachusetts has been a loyal volunteer for Community Legal Aid and its predecessor organization, the Massachusetts Justice Project, for over 30 years.  In 2009, Attorney Mulholland received the Senior Partners for Justice (SPJ) Recognition Award for her dedication to both the conciliation and Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) projects in Hampden Probate and Family Court. A regular attendee of the Senior Partners for Justice-West luncheons, Attorney Mulholland regularly volunteered on the spot for upcoming LAR and Conciliation sessions.

Attorney Mulholland graduated from Western New England Law School in 1978, and began her career in the District Attorney’s Office from 1978 through 1991. In 1991, Attorney Mulholland turned to private practice concentrating in the area of Family Law. In addition to her litigation career, Attorney Mulholland teaches at Western New England College’s Master Program, Holyoke Community College, and serves as Lead Instructor at the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Forest Park Zoological Society, the Greater Springfield Mental Health Association, and the VNA of Springfield.
